Special issue from USE2009

USE2009 has made an agreement with two international journals about publishing a special issue with papers from the conference:

'Policy and Practice in Health and Safety'
'Policy and Practice in Health and Saftety' is edited by Professor David Walters and published by IOSH. You can read more about the journal and editorial guidelines to be followed for submission
here .

Please note, that the lenght of paper for the USE2009 special issue from Policy and Practice should be max. 8000 words (including abstract, key words, notes, and references).

'International Journal of Workplace Health Management'
IJWHM is published by Emerald and you can read more about the journal and editorial guidelines to be followed for submission
here  and here .

Please note, that the lenght of paper for the USE2009 special issue from IJWHM should be max. 5000-6000 words (not including abstract of max 250 words and references).

Time table

1 February: Deadline for interested authors to submit their papers – papers are forwarded to the reviewers (double blind review).


1 March: Authors receive review comments and get two month for the revision of the paper (provided that the paper is accepted for further submission).


1 May: Authors submit the revised paper. The revised paper is accepted, forwarded for second review or rejected.


1 June: If the paper was forwarded for second review, authors receive the review comments.


1 July: Authors submit the final paper. The USE2009 editors assess the paper. Accepted papers are sent to the editors of the journals for final accept.

Accepted papers will be published October-November 2010.
