Oral presentation of paper - instructions

The papers are presented at workshop sessions with a duration of 1½ hours (maximum of 5 related presentations in each session - this leaves approx. 10-15 minutes for each oral presentation).

The name of the workshop for which your paper has been accepted for presentation is showed on the 'acceptance notification' e-mailed to you by the organizing committe.

Some workshops (tracks) are divided into two or three 1½ hour-sessions, depending on the number of papers submitted/accepted. Find your own session here.

In general, oral presentation of paper should follow the requests below:

    ▪ The format your presentation has to be Power Point
or PDF-file. The file has to be named 'USE2009
presentation...' followed by the main authors sur-
      name (e.g. 'USE2009 presentation_Hasle.ppt').

    ▪ Please bring your presentation (file) on a MS
Windows compatible USB flash drive (preferable) or
      CD-ROM.

    ▪ Attend the room of the workshop session at least 15
minutes before the session is planned to start and up-
load your presentation on the computer.

    ▪ Use standard fonts (e.g. Times New Roman or Arial)
in your presentation (unusual fonts may not be dis-
played correctly on the session room computer).

    ▪ Generally, the advise is to avoid tiny text and over-
crowding of each Power Point slide
